Kayaking in Newfoundland
I discovered Kayaking last year, 1996, after I
built my own sea kayak. Follow the link to see more on this home built
craft and some pictures of its construction.Kayaking in Newfoundland poses some challenges but has many rewards. The biggest concern is the temperature of the water. It is always cold. A dry suit is recommended or at least a wet suit. Some of the rewards include spectacular scenery, miles of ocean coastline and whales.
