Misc (wow, long time since an update): well, it's something that I
knew was going to come eventually, but anyhow, here it is: I've
officially stopped actively working on guile (too many ly's in that
sentence, I think). There are a variety of reasons, some good, some
bad, but none particularly interesting ;). It's really been coming for
a long time (last summer, in fact), but I thought (quite incorrectly)
that it might be avoidable. I guess the best way to put it is that we
all have to decide for ourselves whether we can be happy being an
indian, or if we gotta be a chief, and if you gotta be a chief, you
gotta be a chief... and yes, I gotta be a chief >:').
And no, it isn't a pseudo quit to shake things up ;).
In any case, I'll likely still follow the mailing list and
interject from time to time as time and interest permits. I'd like to
wish all the guile developers and users the very best of luck in the
future. Have fun, use scheme, don't crash too much :).
