Síochána
Breakdown
Charlie
Shallow
Written for
the boys in the band and RNC guys and gals in general
Intro DADGAD-
G F C chord progression
There’s a fiery bunch of boys they call Síochána,
They came from many parts of this fair land.
From Townshend Fort to the
smallest port,
There’s music everywhere,

They were Coppers by their trade
and a difference they had made,
in the lives of those in peril, loss and strife.
T’was a calling that they had
And God bless them lass and lad,
And to those for whom they’d made a better life.
CHORUS
Em-C (A7-D out)
Give peace to all you cross and help them make
their day,
And the only thing you ask is pass it on.
In this world in which we live, yeah we’ve got a
lot to give,
Now give a little rhythm to this song,
Síochána Breakdown!

And we like to say out loud,
Since 1871 we’ve felt this way.
In the mud and blood and beer,
There’s no room for any fear,
You can mark it down we’re damn well here to stay.
It’s the story that we told,
Of the many that we hold,
Of battles won and lost along the way.
But what we like best to do, Is to play a tune or two,
So listen to me closely when I say,
(Chorus x 2) then Outro
