The City of St. John's Pipe Band is a pipe and drum band based in St. John's, Newfoundland. The band plays regularly throughout the year at a variety of functions. In addition to making pipers available for head tables, conference dinners and conventions, the full band may be seen at parades, festivals and sporting events. Television appearances are common when National events take place in the province, and the Band is always a favorite for outdoor summer occasions. Because of the cost of travelling, most of the performances take place in and around St. John's.
