orn in St. John's, Mickey Michael left Newfoundland as a young man spent 25 years in Western Canada. Throughout those years he felt a call to return to the land of his birth, a call which ultimately resulted in his picking up stakes and coming home. Now Mickey continues to write songs a hobby that goes back many years. Music has always been part of his life from his earliest days. His father the famous Mickey Michael Orchestra of the 40's, 50's, and 60's stills entertains in his home for family and friends.
ll of the songs on this album were written by Mickey since his return to Newfoundland, where the uniqueness of the people and the beauty of the land provide great inspiration to his creative talent.
