        You will likely be flying on a commercial airliner to Goose Bay. A few guests drive to Goose Bay in a pick-up truck (about 48 hrs from Quebec). We will pick you up at the airport and transport you to the float plane base for a direct flight to the lodge or to the lodging of your choice for an overnight stay (motel, bed and breakfast, etc.). Most guests over-night in Goose Bay at Davis' Bed & Breakfast (1-709-896-5077), but some book flights which arrive early enough to fly straight to the lodge the same day. The flight to the lodge takes approximately 2hr30min from Goose Bay and is typically done in a beaver or otter float plane.

Saglek Fjord is located in the Torngat Mountain Range and is surrounded by the highest mountain range east of the Rockies. The mountains of this range are flat topped having been eroded by glaciers. Very few people of European descent have ever seen these isolated and beautiful mountains and their glacier carved valleys. The camp is nestled in the basin of Long Arm in Saglek Fjord. Here we watch and listen to the resident wolves, peregrine falcons, and arctic ptarmigan. This camp is the most northern and isolated outfitting camp in  NE North America. Anne lake requires a 30-45 minute flight north from Tasuiyak Lake.
