Arctic Char FishingArctic char fishing at our Labrador or Newfoundland fishing camps.Join us this year at a lodge in the Torngat mountain range for an arctic char fishing adventure you will never forget. At our remote fly-in only lodges fishing is as it was pre-European contact and the scenery is breath-taking. We offer a number of locations from the tree-line to the arctic with a variety of types of fishing areas in each ranging from tidal pools and rivers to lakes. Fresh run char will be caught from the last week of July through mid-August. Only colored char are possible after late August. These fish are strong fighters and are highly recommended to fly fisherman. Size ranges from 3lbs. to 10 lbs, with a few big ones thrown in for added excitement. The largest caught at our lodges was 26 lbs with 15-20lbs class fish caught every week during prime time. We also offer artic char in Newfoundland that vary from 2 to 5 pounds for half the price of our Labrador trips!
