Twin Rivers Course officially opened in Aug. 1984 as a nine hole public course in Terra Nova National Park. The second nine holes opened in July 1991. The late Robbie Robinson, architect of Stanhope, PEI Osprey Ridge & Angus Glenn, Ontario designed the original nine hole. Doug Carrick, designer of King Valley, Ontario designed the second nine-hole.
In 1993 Sports Villas Resorts, Inc. began operating the course and renamed the property Terra Nova Park Lodge & Golf Course. Construction on a new nine-hole began in 1997and opened in 2001.
Terra Nova Park Lodge and Golf Course has been given the rank of Platinum by the Canadian Golf Course Ranking Magazine for the past three years, ranking the course as one of the top 30 courses in Canada and one of the top six in Atlantic Canada. This seaside course that crisscrosses two salmon rivers has been often referred to as “Canada’s Pebble Beach”
There is now a new 9 hole golf course as well call Eagle Creek
