Bishop's Falls Heritage Centre

There is a Heritage Centre being established in Bishop's Falls, and we need your help.

A report has been prepared discussing the feasibility of and concepts for a Heritage Centre in Bishop's Falls. We will be presenting this report at a public meeting on March 6. At this meeting, guest speakers will be presenting their experiences in helping establish heritage centres for other towns in the province.

Our Heritage Centre will be comprised of artifacts, photographs, and stories relating to the history of our town - the flood, the mill, logging, sports, and the railway (including the 100-year old trestle, the oldest and longest trestle in Newfoundland).

Without the community's help, this Heritage Centre will not be possible. We want residents of Bishop's Falls to take pride in their town and to show all visitors and tourists that the town of Bishop's Falls is, indeed, a great place to visit, a great place to live, and is a town that has a wonderful past and an even better future.
