The invitation is extended to all sections - Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venturers - to participate in the Jamboree On The Trail 2008.

This would be a great chance to get out and meet other groups! Please come out and participate!!!

We will be hiking to the Old St. Andrew's Camp in the Three Pond Barrens Area, where Baden Powell himself visited in 1935. It will take approximately 40 minutes at a very slow pace to reach the site and we will be returning in the same direction. For the most part, the trail is an old road and is pretty dry. The camp is a really beautiful site! We are to stop and take a break to have a snack, relax, or play a few games.

The hike will begin at the end of Allandale Road, beside the golf course in Pippy Park at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 10, 2008. Pick up time will be between 3:15 and 3:30pm.

If some groups want to complete the whole loop around the three ponds, I will have maps for you.
