Eastern Avalon Area is divided into five districts. They are:

Beothuck District

Beothuck District, named after the indigenous people of the island of Newfoundland, consists of 10 groups and is located in the traditionally East End of the city of St. John's. These groups, with the 1998 total membership, are:

Caribou District

Caribou District, named for our indigenous big game animal, consists of 11 groups and is located in the traditionally West End of the city of St. John's. These groups, with the total 1998 membership, are:

Marconi District

Marconi District, named for Guglielmo Marconi who received the first wireless radio signal at Signal Hill in St. John's, consists of 8 groups and is located in the northern rural part of the Northeast Avalon Region covering the communities of Flatrock, Torbay, Pouch Cove, Middle Cove and Outer Cove. These groups, with the total 1998 membership, are:

Micmac District

Micmac District, named for the North American aboriginals who were early arrivals to Newfoundland, consists of 3 groups and is located in the western rural part of the Northeast Avalon Region and includes the communities of Topsail, Manuels, Kelligrews (collectively known as the town of Conception Bay South) and Holyrood. These groups, with the total 1998 membership, are:

Viking District

Viking District, named for the first Old World visitors to Newfoundland, consists of 7 groups and is located in the southern part of the Northeast Avalon Region. It includes the Goulds (a part of the City of St. John's), the City of Mount Pearl and the community of Paradise. These groups, with the total 1998 membership, are:
