'Dear Conan' Question #1

"I'm in a bind Conan and I need some advice. Yesterday I made a mistake at work and my boss chewed me out in front of all my co-workers. I got very angry and thought about running him through with my letter opener. But I need the money so I kept my mouth shut and took it. Did I do the right thing? How can I act manly around the office now after being humiliated by my boss?" - Disgruntled Gofer

"By Crom man! Have you no backbone? True warriors like myself take no shit from anybody! If someone ever tried to argue with me, I'd knock him senseless with the flat of my blade! And what are you doing with a puny letter opener? Real men bring broadswords to work! If you want to keep your pride and act manly around the office again, your only hope is to confront your boss face to face. I recommend meeting him alone in an alley somewhere, dressed in full battle armor. Take a sturdy sword with you and a shield if you feel it is necessary. Let out a couple of Cimmerian war cries and he should be on his knees begging for mercy in no time at all. If he still tries to boss you around after that, run him through with your blade!"
