These pictures were taken from the book 'Outport' by Candace Cochrane and Roger Page. These photos were takenwhile she was in Conche working with the QLF, over a thirteen year period. They provide some good examples of howthings have changed in Conche, but also of how things have stayed the same. Many of the people in these pictures will be recognized. Some have passed away, but many are still in Conche, and please, try not to laugh (too much). All pictures are © Candace Cochrane.. Also..the first picture is probably the most striking. It is in proper wallpaper size, if someone wants to use it as such.
