Conche is a community with a long and interesting history. While I was researching Conche on the internet for a culture assignment, I found the following pictures. I have also added some pictures that people around the community have of the various Churches in the community, and have created a museum. Another thing of note is that the background for this page is the traditional tartan of Newfoundland.

Bigger Version
This is a picture of Conche harbour, from about where Bernie Byrne's house is today. A schooner and several old stages can be seen. This picture was taken betweenthe late 1800's and the early 1900's.

Big Version
This seems to be an old picture of Crouse, with Sailor Jack's Hill in the Background. Schooners can be seen in the harbour, and several stages are also visible

Big Version
This picture is of old schooners, and one person believes they are from Conche. Even if they are not, they are still a good example of the boats of the time.

Go ahead, visit the Mini-Museum, or the Church Page!
